Servicing & Repairs
We offer a thorough overhaul service to almost any mechanical clock, with the exception of 400 Day (Anniversary) clocks, Cuckoo clocks and Atmos clocks.
This will include dismantling and cleaning the mechanism, repairing any wear to the bearing surfaces (e.g. bushing pivot holes, re-facing pallets etc.), replacing worn mainsprings or line, re-assembling with the correct lubrication and testing over a period of 3-4 weeks to ensure reliability and good time-keeping.
We are happy to provide a quote over the phone or via email for our mechanical overhaul service, however this may be subject to change following an initial appraisal of the mechanism to assess for any further repairs which may be necessary. This could be if a clock has suffered an accident which has lead to damage such as a broken wheel or pinion.
In the event that further repairs are needed, we will always contact you for authorisation before beginning any work.
Collection & Delivery
A collection and delivery service is included in the cost of a mechanical overhaul within a 10 mile radius of Andover or Malvern (see images below).
